Hi, I'm Shelby!

Welcome! I'm glad you have found your way to my page. As you can tell, I love photography. I have had a passion for it for as long as I can remember. I have always loved the stories that pictures tell, and how you can capture a single moment forever, that would otherwise be gone. I grew up with a mom who is an artist, so I have learned to always see the beauty in everything. Art is something that I come by naturally, but I am a firm believer that you can always grow and expand at everything, even what comes naturally.

My goal with every session is to give you the best experience I possibly can. Whether that means blasting your favorite music and dancing around to it, or listening to what you are going through in your current season of life. I am here to be your photographer, but I am also here to be your friend. I love it when clients bring personal things into sessions! That could be a piece of jewelry that your mom or grandmother gave to you, or a blanket that has been passed down through generations of your family, or even your furry friends! I aim to capture the moments that are most important to you.

I have been married to my amazing husband for 9 years, and together we live in Coralville, IA where he is a pastor! We have two beautiful daughters, who we absolutely adore! Parenthood is wild at times, but I absolutely love it. I love taking photos (obviously), thrifting, doing DIY projects around our house, taking naps, and doing arts & crafts with my girls. If you were to come into my home right now, you would be surrounded by plants, projects in the works, essential oils, and loads of stuffed animals (thank you, children)! Family is EVERYTHING to me. I grew up in a very tight-knit family, and that is what I desire for mine. I am a stay-at-home mom, but I have also been incredibly blessed to walk alongside my husband in the ministry that the Lord has called us to here in Coralville. This life is crazy at times, but I am incredibly blessed to be doing it all alongside the love of my life!
